Twitter has taken a cautious approach to their Android app by patching a bug that hasn’t seemed to be abused. They have also gone out of their way by informing users using the affected app by sending them messages to update to the latest version of Twitter Android people are using.
It’s nice to see a company concerned for their users even with such a complex bug like this one. The team at Twitter seem to be doing a great job securing their app which they have been keeping on top of.
“We’re sorry this happened and will keep working to keep your information secure on Twitter.” – privacy.twiiter.com
